Beach Storm

This has been a show winner for me, but it was not a planned shot. I was on the beach working to capture an image during an Arthur Meyerson  seminar that contained three elements: Color,light and gesture.

I did not see the storm until I turned after I felt the temperature drop and wind pick up. Then, ran for cover. I think it meets the requirements of that assignment, and more!

The other photos on this page are favorite images from recent shows based on specific themes. All were captured from locations along Florida’s West Coast.

This is from a series of cold, winter-morning shots on the Cassahowitzka River near Homosassa Springs, Florida.

This is a series of fishermen shots captured along the Terra Verde causeway, an island on the way to Ft. DeSoto. I must have dozen or more similar images of this same fisherman, framed by different light, clouds and sea conditions. All contain the same dog and open truck door open.
